About Us

Our Story:

Mission

ALAREEN exists to support the local community strengthen their bodies, minds and spirits through the diligent study and practice of the martial arts.

Philosophy

In this modern corporate world of over specialized sports competitive martial arts, we are different. We experience the martial arts as a vehicle for self-development, self-realization and practical self-defense.

Our focus is not on winning trophies, belts or medals however noble a pursuit that may be for some, but on laying the foundations that will allow us to help build strong, resilient and disciplined spirits that are mature, and kind yet ready to effectively defend themselves if the need arises.

We aim to help our students be able to not only defend themselves against bullies and assailants, but also against whatever life may throw at them. That may include depressions, anxiety, shyness, negative peer pressure or low self-esteem and self-worth.

At Alareen we teach a martial arts cross training syllabus (MAXT) that provides a holistic, progressive and structured approach to learning self-defense. Our students are taught how to strike, grapple and handle basic weaponry by qualified, passionate and caring instructors.

Our environment is family friendly, lady friendly and not dominated by any one race, ideology or nationality. We refer to each student by their first name and do not want to grow to a stage where we can’t. We are Emirati owned and managed with full permits and approvals set by the government in place.

We regard each person who walks through our door as an opportunity for us to make this world a better place. We are aware of the blessings that surround us and the potential threats that may approach us. We are peace seekers who are battle ready. We are Alareen.
